I cannot get my Lenovo Y510p to use my NVIDIA GT 750M
My laptop only uses the Intel Integrated Graphics. I have tried almost everything to get it to work. I reinstalled all the drivers, tried old drivers, upadated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, uninstalled intel and NVIDIA graphics drivers and reinstalled, etc.

I also cannot access the NVIDIA Control Pannel. I dont see it when I right click on my desktop but I do see it in control panel, it just wont open. I also see the graphics card in device manager but no matter what I do it wont be put into use.

Please help,
Thanks.

Did a CD come with the card and have you tried using that if so?

http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/102995 have you installed this? Keep in mind this driver only works with Windows 7 through 8.1 64x. Otherwise I don't know what else could be the problem

- run DDU and wipe out Intel & NVIDIA drivers
- Download latest Win10 drivers from Intel & NVIDIA for your Hardware (the two GPU models) and also Intel Chipset INF.
- Install Chipset INF, reboot if asked.
- Install Intel HD GPU Driver, reboot if asked.
- Install NVIDIA Mobile GPU Driver, click Custom, untick 3D Vision and Geforce Experience. Tick the box for "clean install"

Sounds like Lenovo are just being ****. They sure do work on Windows10 (at least the Y series) But after an upgrade you need Win10 Drivers. I don't understand why people don't get this. If you don't understand that, then you shouldn't be upgrading anything.

Best bet really is doing a clean install. Then you just go to the hardware makers (Intel, NVIDIA, Realtek, etc.) and get all your drivers; based on your hardware.

I confirmed that Lenovo will not be supporting Windows 10 on Y510p or Y410p laptops (Y410p is being removed from the Supported Systems list).
If you have already upgraded one of these models to Windows 10, you can find information about downgrading here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht103796.
Please note that downgrades must be performed within a month of the Windows 10 upgrade.
