GeForce Experience Not Opening

Unable to start NVIDIA Update Service due to "Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component." GeForce Experience must close.

This error message keeps popping up whenever I try to open GeForce Experience so if someone could please help me that would be great.

It would actually be best for you to uninstall it and not use it.
But if you do need it, for whatever reason

Download the latest drivers
Uninstall everything NVIDIA related including GFE
After you reboot, install the drivers, select CUSTOM Install, select the Drivers, PhysX and GFE, nothing else unless you specifically need it.

If GFE has a seperate installer where you dont need to install everything again, just get GFE instead of the graphics driver installer

Yeah i'll just stop using it and download updated drivers from their website,thanks for the advice

The drivers still have that app; each time u install Driver, get it from their site.
Then during install u click Custom, untick GFE and 3DVision.
