since gtx 1080 and 1070 come out in may and early june, i wonder what next mobile card will be
from nvidia. if gtx 1080m (presumely) has 80 % performance of gtx 1080, i will be happy

In terms of raw performance NVIDIA has already managed the 80% mark with 980M against 980. However that doesn't necessarily translate into real time in-game performance.

The mobile versions will undoubtedly come; but how long, we can't say til they show and/or announce them.

Now if you go back and look at Desktop 900 series -vs- Mobile 900M series release dates; each of the Mobile versions was only off by release by approx 1 month or so. So given 1080 will release May 27 and 1070 on June 10; then around end of June through August sometime is likely around the time the mobile versions could release.

i think they(nvidia ) will showcase gaming laptops with gtx 1080m soon
