The good thing about building it yourself is that you gain knowledge of the hardware and will be able to troubleshoot any issues in the future. It's invaluable.

Total: $682.60
way 'nuff for cs:go and lol, and stick that stuff together isn't rly hard, u have the manuals, the community for help etc.
Prebuilts are fine, if you find the right deals it can cost the same as building one yourself.
They just get overpriced when youre talking about a really expensive PC. If you want a really nice customized PC its best to build it yourself. If you are fine with a stock standard gaming PC you can get one on Newegg cheaply.
Building it yourself has the advantage when you get into the upper tier PCs since you can customize with nice cases, and quality hardware for a lot cheaper and without compromising on build quality like if you get one from Cyberpower.
Not really cause even when u find "deals" the internals are all junk. Hazardous PSUs that should never be used, crappy Motherboard, RAM, etc...
Just build it right from the start, might be a bit more upfront, but over time it'll save you money cause you won't be already shelling out a good amount, for that pre-build junk, so to put more money towards upgrading it.
Thats why its best to get an OEM PC e.g. from Asus or something rather than built by a 3rd party. Those PCs are the exact same quality as if you built a budget PC yourself. But with 3rd party PCs that are basically just non OEM parts put together and sold you can have skimping on part quality.
ASUS, Dell, HP... etc.
There is a huge difference between any Asus prebuild Desktop from BestBuy -vs- Asus motherboard u'd get for a custom build.
I dont see the difference if it's a budget PC build.
Mobo's, PSU etc are exactly the same quality (chinese made basic stuff) The only difference is that the mobos are a different color. GPUs may be reference models but that is only a 5% difference.
Its only when you get into a more expensive build that prebuilts become worse quality.
