Disabling Nvidia 3D vision on Windows 10?
I guess the recent windows 10 update reinstalled Nvidia 3D vision and set it to be on by default. Now, whenever I open a game (or any fullscreen app, really) I either see the stereoscopic red/blue or just a plain red overlay. Pressing ctrl+t turns it off for most games, but it still has this red filter over things like youtube and the windows media player (while in fullscreen).

I tried uninstalling the 3D vision drivers through the Windows control panel but I'm still not experiencing any change. Is there any way I can completely remove Nvidia 3D vision from my system, and if so, how?

You should be able to just turn 3d vision off in the Nvidia control panel. Make sure to click apply at the bottom as well. Then is should remain off. You can also do a clean driver install and just uncheck 3d vision driver.

Download the latest Driver
Download DDU
Uninstall EVERYTHING NVIDIA Related
Run DDU
Have it boot you into safe mode
Clean/Reboot, accepting the prompt to disable automatic driver downloads, which is probably whats causing your problem

Run the driver
CUSTOM(ADVANCED) Install
Deselect EVERYTHING Except for the Driver and PhysX
NOTHING Else unless you specifically need it

Problem solved

If you use Geforce Experience, set this to "Notify of Updates Only" rather than "Auto Update"
When notified of a Driver update then you can decide if it is needed for your config.
When you do update them, manually download from Geforce.com/Drivers and upon running the driver install, always select Custom... do like CJ suggested above.
