a 32bit program can only allocate upto 2g of system ram
Messaggio originale di retro_Ed:
Asus has now a new GTX 950 model without extra power from psu.
but more for multimedia and stuff
gtx 950 is a 90w gpu
over 75w needs power from the psu

if they did have one without a pci-e power connector, it would be 75w or lower and a much weaker gpu

give a link, its most likely a 750ti or nerfed 950

yeah the normal 1s are 90w with a 6pin PCI-E
But it has the better clock specs than NVIDIA's standard model, so it should have better performance at a lower power draw

Pro tip: Remove the gt610 and you will get better performance. Seriously, most integrated graphics are better than gt610.

Yes, this GTX950-OC-2GD5 model has a pci-e power connector and like you wrote earlier model GTX950-2G is nerfed
it didnt look nerfed to me, it has the same specs as a normal GTX 950, but the clocks are higher than normal.

it has the same cuda count and everything.

if it was nerfed the cuda count would be lower than the NVIDIA reference version

Anyway, this GTX950 75W model seems to be best option for cable free and low power consumption graphics card in the market.
No extra PCI-E power requirements:

ASUS Mini GTX 950 2GB

Now these below still require 1x PCI-E power, but they are both still very low power and if needed, using the included PCI-E Power to Molex Adapter would be fine.

ASUS Mini GTX 960 4GB

obviously the 950 Over the 750 ti. Whats AMD mean other than bigger electric bills?
amd goes for higher wattage for similar performance

gtx 960 and r9 380 are close in performance
but gtx 960 is 95w vs r9 380 at 190w

if you would need a new psu for the amd card, nvidia may be a cheaper option
