Logitech F310 Controller Not Working On Windows 10

I've had this controller for a long while now. A couple of weeks ago I was playing a game and it suddenly stopped working. Every time I plugged it in it said 'This USB Device Has Malfunctioned' (or something with that basic message) but now it's not even detected. The drivers and things are properly installed. Any suggestions/advice?

Try it on a different computer. The controller may be dead.

Sounds like bad cable; yes try it on another machine.
Win10 is not the issue, for sure.
