same gpu high settings^ Edit: the cpu has a small oc in this video

and heres a similar system to your original dual core at normal settings with a few high
your would be about 20% better than this one so instead of 20-25 you would have about 30ish same settings (normal and a few high)

GTA its possible to play with that setup, but ARK is an entirely different beast unless you run everything on Low.

With ARK you want a quad core or above CPU with a GPU equaling or about the performance of a 660 Ti/GTX 760/GTX 950, but the better GPU the better the results.

as far as CPUs go, an FX 6xxx at the least or 8xxx at the most. but your motherboard may limit your choices a bit.

It is possible with a 750 Ti, but some settings would have to be sacrificed, and some launch setting configs would have to be used for the FPS to be decent enough to play.

I just wanna play ARK at a decent framerate, I honestly don't care about the graphics.

but graphics is where ARK really shines, its not just gameplay in this case..

But just do this.. buy ARK, try it out on Extremely Low Memory profile, along with the launch settings -useallavailablecores and -sm4 , mess with the graphics a bit n see how it goes.

if it doesnt float your boat under 2 hours play time request a refund.

all in all, i dont think it'll be an enjoyable experience without better hardware.

aim for i3 6100 and gtx 960 or r9 380

au prices are insane, maybe an i5 4460 or i3 4160
