You combine the 6+2 for the 8 pin connector and use one of the 6 pin connectors.
As rotndude said, no adapter required.

it may not be strong enough if it does not have the correct gpu/pci-e power connectors
use those on the gpu
Why is this so hard to understand?
You should have 4 sets of 6+2 coming out of your PSU...enough for 2 cards
the +2 adds 2 more gound and is not needed, but helpful if its connected

Look at the pictures displaying the Connectors
Look at where it says 4x8 (6+2)pin its a 6pin PCI-E connector with a 2pin connector that you connect to the 6pin to make an 8pin. 6+2=8
just find those connectors and you'll have what you need.
