The Skyrim game engine needs a high single threaded cpu speed because it only uses 1 main thread. Modded makes it even more important to have a high single thread speed.
Skyrim doesn't need a great video card unless you want graphic mods like an ENB. I used to play on an R7 260 without problem.
The 370 is better then that card

The size of the case is important, do you know if it's ATX or Micro-ATX or what exactly?
Here's a slightly better build than the one featured in the above video:
ASRock A88M-G/3.1 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Enermax ECA3212-BL ATX Mid Tower Case
Thermaltake TR2 500W ATX Power Supply
AMD A10-7860k 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor

I included a case just in case yours is a slim case or a mini-ITX or something else that won't work. I also went with a Micro-ATX motherboard to give you compatibility if you do decide to use your case and it's Micro-ATX. The case I included is full ATX and nothing special, just the cheapest I could find after rebates. If re-using your case make sure it has at least 1 fan and buy one for it if it doesn't have one. Or just get the new case cause it comes with a fan and the old case gives you a place to store your old PC.
The A10-7860K APU in this build includes integrated graphics as well as the quadcore CPU. It is fully unlocked for overclocking. The stock cooler it comes with is actually pretty good and rated for 95W while the CPU is meanwhile only 65W so there is a bit of room for overclocking there. For even better overclocking get a higher performance custom cooler. You can also re-balance the CPU and GPU speeds as both are unlocked, or just overclock them both. Overclocking will void the 3 year warranty though so you can wait and do it a few years later. Just a note, the A10-7860K is faster than the A10-7850K even though the CPU speed is 100 Mhz slower, because the GPU speed is meanwhile higher at 757MHz up from 720MHz and I think the Turbo speed is still the same at 4GHz, at least according to AMD. Also the A10-7850K is 95W and has a older worse cooler while the A10-7860K comes with a better updated cooler and is only 65W on that 95W cooler.
This build can also be upgraded with a dedicated graphics card. Either you can get a cheap R7 250 to do dual graphics hybrid crossfire with the APU's integrated graphics OR you can get something that's better than that combination just by itself like a R7 370, R9 380, R9 380X or GTX 960. That's why I included a 500W PSU, not a great one but good enough to allow that graphics upgrade to any of those cards and also with a solid 5 year warranty.
If you want something like this build but already upgraded with better graphics look here:
AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock A88M-G/3.1 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Asus Radeon R7 370 2GB Video Card
Enermax ECA3212-BL ATX Mid Tower Case
Thermaltake TR2 500W ATX Power Supply

Also have the option to use a R9 380, R9 380X or GTX 960 instead of the R7 370. I just put that in there cause it's the cheapest. It does almost 2000~ GFLOPS compared to the A10-7860K APU's integrated graphics at like 800~ GFLOPS. The Athlon x4 860K is the same CPU as in the A10-7850K (50 not 60) just without the integrated graphics bit.
If you wanted to spend closer to $500 in full you could get this instead:
AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
ASRock 970M PRO3 Micro ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard
G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive
Thermaltake Versa H23 ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
PowerColor Radeon R9 380X 4GB PCS+ Myst. Edition Video Card

Notice the 1TB drive is more expensive because it's a SSHD instead of a regular HDD.
Also you may wnat to use the included case specially in this last build for better cooling of the CPU and GPU. Since this case has at least one 120mm fan and lots more spare slots to act as cooling vents meanwhile.
If you need a new copy of Windows 10 Pro and can't or won't re-use your old one then here:

Can get Windows 10 Home 64bit for $5~ less last I checked but Pro is better so why not?
also this is a xbox 360 game so ALMOST any pc build is better than x360 these days
