look for a mobile intel 946 cpu that 37w or lower
* or check with the notebook mfg to see what cpus are compatable with it
a pga988 cpu will not fit in a socket not designed for it
You will need a i7-4710MQ or 4712MQ.
PS: BTW, and that's one the reason why I wanna change my CPU, GTA V is using 100% of my CPU all the time (Full HD and graphics on Med to High) but my GPU (GTX 760M) is not fully used as I expect it to be for a game like that. Anything against that ? Of course, I have nothing else running at backgrounf while playing GTA

if the board and cooling have a 37w max tdp, a higher wattage cpu will throttle sooner resulting in lower speeds while gaming
Yeah, of course, and I'd never put in danger my laptop cause I know what are the risks..
