Before decision I suggest to get a program that paints gpu and cpu usage% on the screen, you may still be GPU-bottlenecked or very near it, if so you jsut burn money on this upgrade.
if the games only need 2 cores, the g3250 is fine
if the games need more cores and not held back by the gtx750 the cpu upgrade is worth it
4460 is 3.2ghz
4690 is 3.5ghz
about 10% difference
if 4690 is less than 10% more get it
new gpus are always being released, but 1150 cpus are getting harder to find
id get the cpu while you can, then save up for a gpu and psu
upgrading the gpu to somethign better will cost over $200 if you need a power supply
I have a 550w PSU. My main game at the moment is cs go, but I wanted to try playing overwatch.
The 4460 and 4690 are around $32 price difference. 4460 being the cheaper one
You would not see a difference with a gtx750ti. So if 30$ matters to you then get the 4460. I'm sure a 4460 would not bottleneck any gpu up to ~gtx980ti/gtx1070.
overwatch may use 4 cores, but the g3250 has 2 fast cores, itll be good enough
get any gpu under 250w that will fit in the case
and keep an eye on the cpu prices, if you see one for under $150 pick it up
new the 4460 is $180 and 4690 is $210, not worth the extra $30
