You can't just denounce ALL Razer products as crap, my old Razer DeathAdder 1800dpi and 3500dpi were pretty good mice with a design very good for my hand.
It's just that some of their products have bad quality. And most are too expensive for what good they give to the customer.
I'm not downing every single product, I actually myself want the keyboard with the lcd display in it bc I have a specific use for it in mind that it would be really great for. I just hate seeing people post selfies of themselves surrounded by green trash, and being PROUD, as if it was an actual namebrand, I just

It's RGB so you can set it to green and has LCD display.

Great quality RGB mouse to go with it.
But this lasted for only a couple of weeks.
One day, the screen went pitch black. It would not turn on. I cried, and cried for days on end. One of my friends suggested I claim this legendary thing called "warranty" on my laptop. And I did. I sent my laptop to Razer, and they promised they would do their best. I waited, waited, and waited. About a month later, a package arrived on my doorstep. My laptop was back! I immediately rushed it to my room and pressed the power button. I was greeted with a beautiful 4k display and a vibrant array of RGB colors.
But this didn't last long either.
A few weeks later, the RGB keyboard ceased its symphony of colors. None of the lights worked. I've tried everything, but none of my attempts worked. The keyboard was dead.
So there, that is the reason I hate Razer so much. I spent a fortune on a heavily flawed laptop.
Had a Razer Lycosa keyboard which died after about 18 months - and the multimedia touch controls were awful. I ended up getting a Corsair keyboard as a replacement which I much prefer.
I think Razer are expensive for what they are, but if you find a product you like then there's nothing wrong with spending the asking price.

Mousepad: Razer Firefly Chroma
Mouse: Razer Orochi 2013
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow X Ultimate
Headset: Razer Kraken 7.1 V2
1. There are peripherals that are on par or better then Razers for less
2. Stuff feels tacky and cheap.
3. Made gaming look cringy
I have razer Krakens myself that I bought 4 years ago, and I rather should have went for logitech or turtlebeach.
Razer is just pure garbage now that I have tried other brands like Sennheiser that leaves razer in the dust.
It deserves to be hated because they market it to "gamers" boasting about things it underperforms in. Its like Apple and Beats by dre where you are paying ridiculous amounts for underperforming equipment.
