I5 6500 Gigabyte Gtx 750 ti 2gb good?

Im going to changed my cpu from a Intel Pentium G4400 and should i go with a I5 6400 6500 or 6600? Im thinking of playing new games like Watch dogs 2 and Mafia 3

BEfore anything else make up your mind on the budget, then on the PGU. Before that any advice on the CPU is moot.

The Gtx 750Ti does not support VR.

The two cheapest GPU'S that support VR is the Gtx 1060 and the RX 480.

the Intel Core i5 6600 is the best out of all of them however they are all amazing for gaming.

GTX 750 will not play newer games well.
Aim towards GTX 1060 minimum

i5-6400 is 2.7 Ghz to 3.3 Ghz with turbo.
i5-6500 is 3.2 Ghz to 3.6 Ghz with turbo.
i5-6600 is 3.3 Ghz to 3.9 Ghz with turbo.

i5-6500 sits in pretty good spot in price/performance, with the price of i5-6600 might as well go with i5-6600K.

for gaming, the i5 6500 will do just fine for a few years, just that i would recommend the current line up of gpu as their better raito of price/performance (the rx 480 or 1060 are both rock solid at 1080p ) getting a 750 ti i would rather save up a few bucks and go for a rx 480

if your budget is not high enough for a gtx 1060+ get the i3 6100
