Thin ethernet cable that can go through a room and reach upstairs
Title. I've seen many super long ethernet cables, but they're all bulky and blue, which sticks out too much. Is there maybe a thin, preferrably black ethernet cable that won't stick out like an eyesore? I'd say above 20 feet. And could it also be cheap? Like under $20?

You can't sell it as Cat 6 standard without the twists, so I'm assuming they put the 4 twisted pairs side by side and not actually untangled the whole thing into 8 parallel running wires. If they did, the interference between those 8 wires alone would make reaching any sort of reliable speed and latency impossible.
So it is going to be across a short distance. I haven't measured it yet but I'd say very roughly under 50ft. Will I be getting ANY sort of interference? Also I can't wire it through the wall, I already asked my dad if we can do that. What are 110/220vac wires?
Also in the product description is says "4 twisted pairs of copper wires" so no, they are not running parallel. Does this mean there will be minimal signal loss?

All Ethernet is twisted pairs, it has to be.

If u running cables beyond 30-50 ft, just buy a spool of bare cable (just has no ends on it) and make your own to length.

What some people, incl. me, tried to tell you: your posted cable has less shielding, and is more prone to interference.
As in, putting the cable next to wires & devices with high current.

But, i say it again: don't overthink it. You buy a 10$ LAN cable for a few meters - pretty basic stuff.

It doesn't and it isn't. Throwing the 4 twisted pairs randomly in a default sleeve or putting them neatly side by side for a flat cable doesn't affect it's sensitivity for interference and doesn't affect shielding at all, as both regular cables and these are Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP). You could buy STP, which probably also comes in a flat cable version in which case both are equally well shielded.

The regular power/electricity wires running to your lamps and wallsockets.

You could also try looking at (homemade) directional antennas to get around your Wifi performance issues.

These days. We used to have thick ethernet and thnin ethernet. First I saw the topic title I was wondering who on Earth is looking for a thin ethernet cable and why (that is the 10 Mbps coaxial cable with BNCs and terminators :-)

I want it to be discrete. You know, not a fat one that sticks out.

I'm so confused now. I'm going to buy the 100ft cat6 cable. I hope it works well

Why would you buy 100ft if you only need 25?
Buy an appropriate patch cable, and enjoy proper connectivity. Seriously, we talk about a cable here, not rocket science.

I underestimated. Badly. The whole route to my room is waaaay over 25 feet. I'm not an idiot. If I needed a 25ft cable I would buy one

Maybe I am an idiot...

Back to the topic. I'm buying a 100ft cable. Any objections? Any issues?
