go with a cheaper cooler, 212evo will get a nice oc from the i5k
and cheaper mobo, any z170 board will work fine
get a better ssd, 240g intel, samsung, crucial or mushkin is about $15 more
and 2tb hdd is about the same price
gtx 960 is on the weak side for 1080p gaming
aim for gtx 970/1060+ or r9x 390/rx 480+
odd isnt needed anymore
same price much better all around

That build is way too expensive lol, I am building in Canadian currency, so $1200 CAD is about $950 USD. That might of been why the prices were off. I picked the 960 because I plan on upgrading in the nearer future (Id rather downgrade now and upgrade sooner than purchasing the best parts now and having them become obsolete in a few years). Same goes with the cpu; my first pick was the 6700k but I decided to go with the 6600k.
I did plan on getting the 212 EVO cooler, but a friend of mine recommended me to upgrade to the noctua if I would be overclocking. Unlike cpus and gpus, I think I can keep the cpu cooler and motherboard (unless i decide to get a new cpu that needs a different socket motherboard) for a lot longer without upgrading, which is why I picked a higher end one. Same goes with ram.
I only need the ssd for the OS and a few games that I usually play (or is there something I don't know?).
Games are getting bigger and bigger, 40-50 Gb is commonplace now. You would prob have some other everyday use programs as well.
If you really want just 120GB, this[ca.pcpartpicker.com] would be alright. I wouldn't recommend it, though-- games are really big these days.
Btw.: the 960 is really in a bad spot atm. A 1060 would be just a few bucks more, and be way better (around 980 level with more vram). Or used 970, or wait for 1050.
A higher quality PSU certainly wouldn't hurt either.
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GAMING V $339.99
Used GTX 970 ~$220-270
(prices in CAD)
+ a few bucks more for a decent PSU.
Could i.e. remove the DVD, go down a little with the mainboard (i assume you don't SLI), don't buy some random 1TB HDD, etc. etc...
