Seriously for a Logitech mouse...
Get a G500 or G900... they are larger, seriously good for gaming upon using palm grip, comfortable for hours of hardcore gaming and will last you at least 8 years. I highly recommend those, they come from the line of the MX518 (an old school gamers classic optical mouse, but redesigned to be lazer sensor and more accurate).
Go into a computer store and just find some to test yourself.
Consider a Razer Goliathus Speed Edition mouse pad to go with it. This pretty much completes it, bring palm grip speed up to that of claw grip, so you get the best of both worlds for some serious gaming. Smooth, accuracy and fast.
It's the soft weaved texture. It works well with Razer DeathAdders or Logitech G500/900 sensors. Ensure the mousepad edges are stitched (preventing it from lifting) and you have enough desk space if going for this mouse pad (they are large). It's comfortable for hours and doesn't fall apart on you. Might be slightly affected by sweat, but doesn't really lose it's shape or flat smooth surface even years later. It will come down to your own personal taste, but I would highly recommend it for those certain mice sensors.
