Ok, I'll consider. Do you think it matters how fast my optical drive is?
You can find the 460 on newegg, here are two that are listed (don't buy the 4GB version, it costs more and you won't make use of the 4GB on it. Stick with the 2GB version)
PowerCooler RX 460[www.newegg.com] - $109.99
Gigabyte RX 460[www.newegg.com] - $119.99
Or you can hit up the GTX 950 (costs a little more over the RX 460, but has the same performance)
EVGA GTX 950[www.newegg.com] - $129.99
If, as suggested by Xp3nDaBirD, you can dump the cooler and use the stock heatsink that comes with the CPU and then apply that extra $25 or so to a better GPU - such as the RX 460 or GTX 950.
A friend told me the stock cooler was garbage, and I want my pc to last a good bit.
While the stock cooler isn't the best, it is designed to do what it does - transfer heat away from the CPU. Sure, you can get an aftermarket one, but if you don't have a processor that overclocks, it's kind of pointless.
I have the stock heatsink on my younger brother's i5-4590 and it works just fine. Temps don't go past 55C or so when he's gaming.
By no means will your system suffer if you use a stock one over an aftermarket one. In the end it's your decision, we're just offering suggestions.
Alrighty, I'll think. Thanks for the suggestions!
If you do, you can pick up the i5-6500 for $179, plus find a similarly priced motherboard. Buying the CPU and a motherboard that is on the list of paired parts could save you an extra $40 or so (after taxes).
Sadly, no.
Bummer. It's always nice to tell folks about it. You'd be surprised how often you find people that live near one and don't even know about the store. Too bad the CPU prices are in-store only prices....but that's how they get you in there.
I have to avoid from going to the one by my house, other wise I buy things I don't need. Granted I can use the things I buy, I just don't need them or to spend my money on them.
Lol.
H110 and B150 motherboard dont use higher then 2133 Mhz RAM anyway.
Stock cooler is fine.

I figured that out, and changed the RAM. For the games I play, I think a GTX 750 Ti would do fine.
