Slow download speed in internet browser

Hello,

Just as the title says. I am trying to download a patch for a mount and blade module that I need. However its sadly only found on an external site instead of the steam workshop..

In steam, i usually get 300-500 KB/s for steam downloads,(yes i know this is horrid but its the best I have with where i live). On Moddb, the site that the patch is located on, Im downloading around 70 KB. I personally would not like to wait 3-4 hours for this patch.

Any suggestions would be great!

ModDB prioritizes network traffic and bandwidth for its members. If you aren't one, then you have to get in line.

Im currently a member and logged in as one, still getting horrid DL speed

In that case, either the website's servers are under heavy load, or that the content you wish to download is located at a low priority server.
