Logitech G35 Headset Issues
--Posted this in the Arma disccusions as well--
Just got the headset, i've tried it on other games so far and it has only done this so far in Arma. Whenever i press the caps lock button to speak into the mic, suddenly my entire game mutes. When i alt tab out my sound for my regular applications continue to work, but I'm forced to reboot the entire game for my sound to come back in game. The headset i had before (Turtle Beach PX22) never did this. So i'm not sure if it's the headset or the game, but like i said it's only done this so far in Arma. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I have the same head phones and the same problem. It happens when i play cs:go. And sound is important in that game. So I have to leave during a competive match and get a competive cooldown so I cant play! and I cant help acidently pressing it sometimes. I'm researching right now so if i find any solutions ill be sure to post it.

damn, posted this two years ago and im still getting answers. Love this community. Update for my issues, never was able to solve them. Ended up purchasing a new headset, and never had that problem since.

Yeah for sure, really weird issue. Sucks too, cause i really liked that headset.

Reload the headset drivers, here is how:




Go to device manager and
Look for the G35 headset, right-click on it, uninstall
Unplug it
Restart the computer
Plug it back in
Test the headset

Tried that back when i had it, still to no avail. Oh well, hopefully that helps for someone!
