If you use the MBR boot sector, you won't be able to boot into the OS when you disable CSM to access 4G Decoding + ReBAR settings because MBR is a legacy boot sector, it's not compatible with UEFI. CSM is there to add support in UEFI for legacy BIOS.
So when in doubt, use GPT. MBR is a bit of a niche at this point, you only need it for motherboards that don't even have UEFI, which is very old hardware at this point and won't even support Windows 11, so as far as Windows users are concerned, it's going to be rapidly obsolete.
