Windows Could Not Retrieve Information About The Disks On This Computer
Okay,so when I tried to install windows on my laptop it stays stuck at the setup is starting screen for like half an hour and then it gives that message.

I also encountered the error umoutable boot volume error.I get this boot volume error regardless if i try booting into safemode, last known good configuration, safemode with networking, safemode with command prompt, etc.

Before this occurred, there was a virus on my computer.Im not sure if my hard-drive is screwed up or if there is some kind of software issue at hand.

If you guys want me to show the actual error message just tell me.

Also,is there any way to just delete everything off this hard-drive?I don't really care what happens to my data.

If you do not have important data on the disk use Victoria 3.5 for Dos ISO(diagnose, repair or erase) or dban(only erase) switch into legacy BIOS mode if it have UEFI
switch HDD into legacy IDE mode if it use AHCI

disconnect all other HDD before using
disk for testing\erasing will be connected as Primary, all overclockings disabled if program can't detect HDD - connect to other port\controller
