it should be done on all led tvs/displays anyway since the mfgs overdrive them, will make the display last much longer
set backlight to 50-75%
Might try the LG model to see how it is. I would exchange the Asus monitor but I would have to order another one as the Best Buy in my city is sold out and it may turn out to be worse.
Or stick with the devil I know and fiddle with the settings some more.
The LG tv was like 599 at one point and the Alienware was 899. Sure its a big leap like four times the cost but its legit a four times better panel at least. Infact you go from 900-1 contrast to infinite contrast.
Yep can`t wait for OLED to mature some and become actually affordable and without burn-in problems.
Look up pixel refresh and pixel shifting tech burnin takes 3000hrs of a static logo on some oleds. Its not an issue imo ill take that one downside over all the IPS downsides poor contrast, Poor backlight bleed QC, Poor motion response and pixel response and poor coatings as well the sparkling AG on many... 2023 is the year IPS declines to its death.
not nearly long enough for a display
pixel shifting and blinking, why get a good display if its going to mess with the image while using it
none of mine have BLB thats one of the many reasons i choose this brand and model
i personally would return it ASAP.but to be honest you have the worst of the 3 models
the AQ model is the first while its a great monitor it doesnt like going below 110-120 fps
while the others are smooth from 60-144 fps the best model is the VG27AQL1A
absolutely the best monitors ive ever owned and i bought them when they were
400-450.00 worth every penny good luck.
if you have a good card and keep the fps above 110fps you will have no probs with that one.
3000 hours of a static image. 4 months of a logo that was the torture test not normal usage. Look it up Nintendo Switch OLED. It certainly is not a throwaway technology. My first gen Amoled phone had burnin though i left youtube on for 8hours while charging ooops but it still looks better than my IPS with the burnin.
