Mouse Pad question
Ok so I've been using the Steelseries QcK for awhile now, and I noticed there is a lot of resistance now after time passed.

Is there a cloth mouse pad which is smooth for a long time? Because I'm about to give up on cloth pads and get a Destructor 2 hard pad.

The resistance is just way too much.

What is the surface type you use? I see no reason to even need a mouse pad on most surfaces. Just clean the table surface and use just that. Keep it dust free and clean it with Pledge, then dry the surface with clean lint-free rag. Now you have a great mouse surface. The mouse feet also need cleaning every so often.

Well, I'm either getting the Destructor 2 or the mm600

Which one should I buy?

I actually have a goliath control. It's very smooth and slipperym, but after 20 min of use, the resistance builds up tramendously...

Problem is, most table surfaces dont have any resistance at all. Slight bumps will move your aim. I used to use just a table, then I got a Razer Goliathus pad. It's like night and day.

I haven't used any other pad, but I recommend the Goliathus for cloth pad users.

How much does a mouse feet last on a hard pad than the cloth pad?
I replace my QcK every year or so. I like the mouse pad and the price is right.

First Question: What is your mouse? Different sensors react better on certain materials.

For example: A sensor from the Logitech G500 or Razer DeathAdder series would work great on...

Razer Goliathus Speed Edition mouse pad

(so long you have the room for the large pad and it's the weaved edges as to prevent lift/wear)

I have the deathadder. I did buy the Goliathus Control, but after like 20 min of play, for some reason, the resistance goes up... I don't know if this happens to other people too.

I noticed my mouse feet's slipperyness dissapears after playing for like 20 min when I touch it...

So how much faster does the hard pad wear out the mouse feet than the cloth pad?

How come after like 20 min, my mouse gets so much resistance? anyway to fix this?

This didn't happen with my old deathadder because old deathadder chroma used to have very slippery mouse feet.
