SEAGATE SAVVIO 10K.6 900GB SAS 2.5IN 10KRPM 64MB 6GB/ S
Sorry to drop this on you, but I need to know if above HDD would be good as a fast laptop HDD?
I know it has been targeted for SAS/NAS but considering all the benefits (ie low power use, speed, reliability etc) would it make sense to use it in laptops??? Thank you!

With laptop use SSD instead, 10K rpm HDDs are notoriously unreliable because of that speed.

sas and sata look similar
but sata controller cant see sas drives
sas controller can use both sas and sata drives

odds are the sas drive will not work in the notebook/laptop
