Does any one else get a random splash sound that keeps playing randomly ?

HI just wondering if any one could help me but i have recently been getting a random splash sound that keeps playing at random i have looked through settings etc and can find nothing does any one have this problem ? Does any one know the cause or fix for this problem ? - Thanks

Randomly i don't think it's steam related

maybe check your sound settings ...control panel-sounds-sound settings maybe something is linked to your wave noise, like closing programs, etc. Maybe you visited a website that did something wierd.

check windows audio mixer
see what programs are tying to make sound and kill them
