besides bottlenecking.. would this GPU be good for me still? nvidia gtx 950

950 is definitely an upgrade to 630, though still not for high end gaming.

yes i know. i dont want to put out for a badass GPU. i notice the 950 runs even newer games on good settings while my 630 cant handle games from 2008-2016 at 1080p and also the newer games like call of duty and GTA 5 can not run at all due to framerate being so poor

Even with the FX4300 I'd think min GTX960.

you can get the gtx 960 and run it with the fx cpu

if you want a cpu upgrade i3 6100 will run the gtx960 at its max potential
