Make sure you connect any Display directly to the NVIDIA GPU and not the rear of the Motherboard.
The monitor is crap; avoid VGA altogether. Use Digital only.
You can get upwards of 23-24 inch Monitors for under $150
GPUs come with the adapter; so maybe ask the PC brand, as they should have supplied the adapter with the system.

A few things.
First, Here is a picture of where the monitor is currently plugged into on my motheboard.[gyazo.com] I need to get it plugged into the DVI space above that, but it won't fit in there.
Second, I'd rather not return the monitor b/c I would then need to wait another 5-8 days to get my new monitor to start using my PC at all.
Third, how do I plug the monitor directly into the NVIDIA GPU?
Last - the PC/Monitor didn't come with an adapter. I checked over and over again, didn't come with one unfortunately. No idea why.
You need to connect to the GPU in the Slot, not the Motherboard.
You need DVI-to-VGA Adapter; again this normally comes with GPU or whole system; so if not; look in the accessories it came with, or demand it from the maker. Simple as that really.
And again if you avoid VGA Displays, you wouldn't need any adapters. As you want Digital Connection anyways. VGA is just a pain in the butt. That is better for older systems or as an addon display, if must use it. It should be avoided.
It doesn't matter much that it didn't come with it, rather than demanding it and having it come in a few days I might as well buy it for 7 bucks tomorrow.
So just to clarify - I need the adapter? Or I can connect it to the GPU without it?
I would suggest just return the Monitor and get a better one; one that does not only have VGA.
Okay thank you, but I have one last question.
So when I get the DVI-VGA adapter, I shouldn't connect it to the DVI port in the rear of the motherboard but in the slot in the GPU? What's the difference?
The slot / card is your dedicated GPU
You don't want any connected to Motherboard/Onboard GPU; you want them connected to the Dedicated Graphics Card; otherwise you'd just be running off the Onboard GPU and won't have access to the more powerful dedicated one.
