Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H compatible with i7-6700k?

I have been doing research and have not had a straight answer to this question. Would someone know if my motherboard can fit and is compatible with Intel i7-6700K. The motherboard has a 1155 socket while the CPU requires 1151, but have read from multiple sources that most often or not a CPU with 1150 or 1151 was able to fit and run in a 1155 socket. Or am I mistaken?

[EDIT] On Amazon and Newegg, the filters provided are for LGA 1150 and 1155 but no 1151. If the CPU socket fits, would it just not be able to run it do to the age of the motherboard?

[EDIT-2] Newegg on my phone did not have 1151 socket filters.

You must have an 1151 socket board.

It has 1151 pins and needs, obviously, 1151 connections on the motherboard. Plus they design the silicon so it has special grooves to prevent it going in wrong, and going into the wrong socket. Idiot proofing if you will.

LGA 1155 is a rather old socket. 2nd and 3rd generation i3/i5/i7. It's what I'm using with a 2500k.

Look for a z170, H110, or B150 board.
