New videocard makes picture go off screen.
I just got a new videocard (gtx 970) and installed the drivers for it but the picture is half off the screen. How do i fix this?

HDTV or Monitor?

It shouldn't be "off" at all if it's a Monitor.

And u are using Digital connection right? Not VGA.

Btw this is my friends issue I just worded it under me to make it easier to type. His monitor is a Hannspree HF237 and all of his settings that might actually do something important such as auto adjust are greyed out.

I have the bigger version of that monitor (HF257) and recall having a similar issue a long while back, but with an AMD R9 270 instead.

If I remember correctly, it turned out that adjusting the scaling options in the GPU drivers fixed the issue. It may well be a similar case with yours.

Ok, well it works fine with intel's integrated graphics but its worth a shot.What should it be, "aspect ratio", "full screen", or "no scaling"? Also, should the scaling be on the display or GPU?

Its been a while since I've used Nvidia so I probably won't be of much help here.

But in my case I went into the scaling options within the GPU drivers and set overscan to 0%. Is there not something like that in your driver settings?
