GTX 980 Ti fans not spinning
A few days ago I noticed sudden fps drops in all the games I tested. And today I saw that the fans in my GTX 980 Ti are not spinning at all. Not when I turn on the computer, nor when the temperature of it reaches closer to 90 degrees. According to GPU-Z the procentage of the fan speed goes up when the temperature rises above like ~60 degrees C, but the rpm is still 0.

What do I do? I've had this computer since around christmas time and it has never had any problems at all.

Sounds like the fans have died on it.

Either get them to fix it as they should be under warranty or if that's not the case you can easily replace gpu fans in many cases.

Well, if you have a custom fan curve enabled in MSI Afterburner, try turning it off and see if that does anything for you.

To ensure it's not software; go into MSI Afterburner settings and un-tick "Start with Windows"
Apply and reboot.
Now test the GPU.

Remove and then physically inspect the GPU; make sure the fans spins freely; if they are hard to spin, they have seized up. Ensure not blocked in anyways, like wiring. Also look on the GPU for the fan header plug; make it's plugged in fully.

depending on what your GPU provider is, use the management tool and check your fan options. You may find that your fans are set not to spin by mistake when you were fiddling with OC modes etc - many 9 series cards have technonology set to automatic which allow the GPU fans only to turn on when it hits a specific tempeture, if you disabled this then it is likely that your PC deactivated them by default

I tried forcing them on but it doesn't work, i'll probably send them in for a fix...

Just RMA the card through manufacture warranty.
