Problem installing TP-Link wireless card
Hello there,

I'm having an issue that I cannot have connection to the Internet, due that the TP-Link wireless card is not displayed to connect to the router.

Right now, I am using an Ethernet cable but for some reasons I cannot use it because it sucks a lot of bandwidth and that's why I need the wireless card set up.

I have placed it onto the wireless card slot but when I turn on the PC it doesn't show anything.

Anyone can help me, please? Thanks.

That speed plan should be plenty of bandwidth for all of that without one device being considered a data hog. Set the Netflix options within the account for playback quality to auto, so it can lower from say high to medium picture quality if it needs to at any point due to network connection.

Overall if you can't get stable pings on that TP-Link wifi card, I'd return it and try something else perhaps, just avoid those cheap usb wifi ones

Unplug the ethernet so the wifi becomes an option.

Look in device manager to see if for some reason it is not installed already. As you may need to then install the driver for it first

wired is faster than wifi unless you are using a 10/100mb switch or router
in that case, get a gigabit switch or router with gigabit lan and internet ports

Good router you can limit the bandwidth with good router firmware

Hello there,

Yeah, I know that it is faster but I cannot use the Ethernet cable because it sucks a lot of bandwidth which it annoys to my family while they are using internet having slow internet speed.

I want to use the TP-Link wireless card to be able to use Internet whenever I want and no for a limit of time. Thanks,

Hello there,

I do not need any router. The one I have it's fine. I just want that the TP-Link wireless card works properly. When I look back of the case, the signal of the wireless card dosn't flash. Thanks.

Hello there,

I have downloaded the drivers but it won't install them. I am using Driver Easy. I can see P-Link wireless card on this program but not on the device manager. Thanks.

Driver Easy, it's obviously a scam. Either update your drivers yourself or leave them as they are and let windows handle it. All that driver ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a scam.

Hello there,

Thanks for the information. I have updated Windows 10 and now the connection to the network shows up and the TP-Link wireless card flashes green colour.

The problem now is that when I want to connect to the network, it says that it couldn't connect to the network and I do not know why. The TP-Link wireless card is now shown on the device manager and when I want to update the drivers it says that they are already updated.

Try IOBIT Driver Booster. Not junk like Driver Easy and works fully free.

I have tried the Driver Booster that you mentioned and the TP-LInk wireless card drivers are all installed. Once I rebooted the PC and I want to connect to the network, it says that "couldn't connect to the network again". It's weird because all the drivers of the wireless card are all installed.

Thanks.

Disconnect lan cable, it can't use both at the same time. Then simply click the wifi and and click the ssid for your network, then enter it's pin/pw

If you mean the Ethernet cable. I unplug it before I try to connect to wifi to avoid issues and the same thing happens. Do you think it can't connect because the range? From the router and the PC? The wireless card has 300mbps.

Make sure the wireless network is setup for WPA2

Make sure Win10 Network is set to Private, not Public

Well.. Now the wifi is working temporally but the weird thing is. I went to the network settings, I have edited the IP settings to manual. I put the same IPv4 I found on cmd and then it worked. Once I realised I have wifi connection, I have tried a multiplayer game but it is like if the connection is not powerful enough and then it disconnects,
