Cool looking builds
I’m planning on building a new pc for 1440p and 4K gaming. I’m looking for inspiration as I want it to look good so if anyone out there with a rig for 4K gaming that looks good is out there feel free to share the specs or some photos. I would appriciate it!

You know you can put the rear PCI slot covers on with the anti-sag bracket, right? Also looks like something isn't set right, because when I used a similar bracket with a similarly heavy 2080, it didn't sag at all after some tweaking. The key is to do it when the PC is laying down and fiddle with the card and bracket positions, and make sure the screws are really tight so it holds. I had mine perfectly level as people would want it for months without issue.
Any PC build looks cool - if the ower thinks it does look cool. Generally color-wise matching parts do, even better if the LED lights are the same.
I always wanted as blue LED DVD drive, but nobody bothered to make it. Heck, not sure even how long they will bother to make the drives theyselves.
An old build of mine as I didnt had time to upgrade it atm. and was sick for to long and now a a girlfriend that eats to much :P (luckily not pregnant :P)

Wanted to go custom loop but in the end I actually change my hardware to often that it makes no sense.

X299 Asus Rampage VI Extreme + i7-7820X @5.1GHz
4x16GB DDR4-3200 CAS 14-14-14-34
Aorus GTX 1080 Ti Xrtreme Edition
1TB Samsung 960 Evo
2x 500GB Samsung 840 Evo
4TB Samsung 860 Evo + 4TB Samsung 860 Evo as external SSD in an USB-C 3.1 encasing.
Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic + 9x Corsair LL120 + NZXT Kraken X72
Fan Covers to cover up the ugly backside of the fans + Corsair Commander Pro + 2x RGB Controller
Cablemods AiO Sleeving and PSU cabel sleeving in black and blue
EVGA SuperNova G3 750W

price: more then it is worth - but visuals are expensive...
I have many custom loops/builds, check my instagram if you care, a couple on my steam profile. Not a fan of RGB, ♥♥♥♥ is disgusting, so you wont see to much rainbow in my builds....

I made a small change to the list https://pcpartpicker.com/user/DavidTheCrusader/saved/8j2mgs

CPU cooler is a bit weak for this CPU if you want to go with air:

There is no "sag" on my card, it's just the angle the picture was taken, if I look at it straight on, the card is perfectly horizontal.. :)

4K gaming really isnt worth it. On 27" or even 32" you will barely see a difference when you directly compare 1440p and 4K in most games but you will quickly notice the fps drop.

I fully agree, however there are some factors, vision quality, distance from screen, and like you said, size of screen.
If youve got a good eye, and sit at arms length then you should notice, but the average person would be more than happy with 1440p120+hz.
The smoothness would be nicer than the added quality.
I render a lot, and mainly play ETS no competitive shooters. Also having a 43" screen on the desk. So only an arm away.

I don't care for more then 60 fps as it makes no difference for me. But the sharpness is more important for me.

That ppl going to notice the fps drop in most games and can't tell the difference for most part between UHD and QHD is a huge overstatement.

As matter of fact, most ppl using 60Hz screens anyway. Always differs from user to user, and stuff you do.
