What about GTX 980?
I kinda need the graphic card now. bah :(
1 monitor (2 with my TV) and standard 1920x1080 resolution (however might get a bigger screen in future).
Many where dissappointed when GTX 750 had only 25% performance raise compared GTX 650, but then they noticed that almost half wattage was used.
In theory is a small wonder alone to have cards which can play almost any current game on high, while using only 55-60W and run those on office level power supplies.
So if you really need a card urgently and willing to pay, the 780 will have a real bang even for another 3 years, playing anything on Ultra or run displays with anything on 1440p.
But then again the GTX 880 might have much lower wattage - and with that a whole chain of goodies like less heat, less cooling needed, less noise produced.
And of course it will support newer technologies as well.
