I would agree getting G3258 and GTX 750ti, it is the best build for budget gaming.
The thing the GTX 750 and 750 ti are good for is low power use. Good for offices specially where the GPU is only used sometimes and can often use Intel graphics instead, not the best for gaming. Can play many games but R7 260X is just better.
Compare:
Nvidia 700 series
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#GeForce_700_Series
AMD Rx 200 series
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units#Volcanic_Islands_.28Rx_200.29_Series
As you can see the R7 260X has 1971 GFLOPS while the GTX 750 has 1044 GFLOPS.
The R7 260X also has almost twice as much texel fillrate.
Edit: I take back that last I was looking at the wrong numbers I think.
nvidia cards are more efficient
gtx750 is close to a r7 260x
http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R7-260X-vs-GeForce-GTX-750
amd and nvidia cards use their ram/cpu completely different from eachother
if its a low wattage psu, get the gtx750/ti
else a r7 265 or r9 card for the same price

amd apu is 4 cores, but in 2 modules
Man, you are very much misguided there. Don`t use CPU boss and CPU world when comparing those CPU`s. Your comments will be very effective if you have the real rig by yourself and experiencing the real world scenarios.
Which I am right now running on 7850k and the performance is great. For pure gaming I strongly recommend the G3258 with gtx 750 ti. :)
Which I`m building right now. :)
