However, in the case of Corsair Vengeance Pro series, those colour I believe marks no performance differences and rather just let people pick to match their motherboard and case, etc. Some people really like a colour scheme and it's all they care about - making it look good. In which case, you probably want the reds.
8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9-9-9-24 1.5V is optimal gaming performance. So what your got there is fine to use.
Don't go overclocked MHz as they normally raise the CL timing. However, if you do want a little extra (depending on price), consider 1866MHz CL9 or reduced CL timing such as 1600MHz CL8 or CL7 as that would peak your performance maxing it out. Ensure voltage stays at 1.5V or below.
I would highly recommend:
Ballistix Elite 8GB (4GBx2) or 16GB (4GBx4 or 8GBx2) DDR3 1866MHz CL9 1.5V
These are extremely stable, compatible, flat standard CL timing (actually underclocked which lots of expansion), but already faster performance which will max out the system. Ideal for some serious gaming!
Your using duel channel memory on your motherboard, so just get in lots of 2 or 4 sticks - if using 2, ensure it's in position 1/3 or 2/4 (not next to each other) to work together as duel. Read the motherboard book if confused and it should also have a memory compatiblility list (or online manual). Upgrade your BIOS first, if it contains any latest memory compatiblity supports.
