Keyboard And Mouse Lag. SOS

I've been suffering with wired keyboard (Some old Lenovo Keyboard) and wireless mouse (Logitech G602 Gaming Mouse) lag for about 1-2 weeks now when playing any game what so ever, even sometimes on my desktop not even doing anything!

What I've tried (Steam post didn't help)

1. Goto Control Panel > Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Contollers > Right click > Properties > Power Management > Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power.

2. Switch USB Ports.

3. Change Mouse batteries.

4. Update keyboard and mouse drivers.

===Any help with my problem will be much appreciated===

Specs:
Videocard: AMD Radeon HD 7870.
CPU: Intel Core i5 CPU 661 @ 3.33GHz.
Ram: 2x2 GB.

What antivirus do you use?
Do any AV scans lately?
Why mess with the usb ports or drivers; that is a least likely point of the problems.

use windows task manager to see if there any processes that use lots of memory.

running updated antivirus/antimalware scans may rule out malware infestations.

hard disk defragmentation may also be needed. if hdd is almost full, transfer/delete some files.
