Steelseries 3GC Controller not working on Steam Games

My Steelseries 3GC is not working on steam games that support controllers like Skyrim, Rocket League, and Warframe. I downloaded the Drivers for the 3GC and still no luck. Any suggestions to what I shal do?

Did you even look at reviews, the Q&A, or search for in-depth reviews?
It is terrible at best. I'd return it.

If you want something cheap that will work very good; look at Logitech Controllers or Microsoft Xbox360 Controller

the thing is I got it for free from a friend of mine, I've seen it work fine on his computer. And it works on dolphin on my pc. I would like to at least see if the problem can be fixed before I go buy a different controller.

Then have your friend look at your PC perhaps.
You sure it is the only Controller type you have plugged in? Otherwise having multiple controllers plugged in is not a good idea. As most games can only see one; and in Windows only one can be the dominate default at any given time. Which you can check via Winkey+R and then type JOY.CPL

Try loading up Steam > Big Picture Mode > check your Controller in there.
Then load up a game from BPM and see if then the game sees it ok.

I fixed it, the device should have been directly plugged into the motherboard via the back of he pc.

Should work on any USB port.
But whatever...

You gotta go in steam settings to controller and enable PS3 controller support....Yur Welcome. Probably also doesnt hurt to go to http://steelseries.com/us/support/downloads and scroll down till you find the 3GC driver in Legacy and install /restart.
