Razer surround software problem

Hi guys and grills!

So after my recent Windows 10 update my audio totaly died on my computer. I checked my sound settings and everything seemed to be okey even if there were no sound.

If i played any sound the razer surround audio controller showed that something was was playing (that green thing you see when a sound is playing) but nothing was coming out in my headset.

I then disabled The Razer Surround Controller (https://gyazo.com/a3823d01d8ba39315aa5784d80be8120) and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sound came out of my headset not worth playing any games on.....

Can someone help me please? Im totally lost in this case since Razers support is ♥♥♥♥.

EDIT: I use a Razer Kraken Pro headset (non-usb)

If you mean the 1607 Update; that resets the OS settings. It is essentially a whole new OS.

Redo all your hardware drivers by removing them, rebooting as needed. Download and install all the latest ones from the chipset makers.

Press Windows Logo Key (Winkey) + R
In the box, type WINVER and click OK
What does it say for Version and Build

Version 1607, OS-version 14393.222

Then basically your OS settings are back to defaults; and you need to redo all your Drivers.
Your Files and Applications from before the update are intact though.

You will notice the previous Win10 build is in C:\Windows.old
You can use Microsoft Disk Cleanup to remove that.

I deinstalled my audio driver. After reboot it worked again.

If you uninstalled it, then the OS re-installs an older, generic Driver for "HD AUDIO"
Ensure you update your drivers to the latest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones.

I now get the normal windows sound driver to work, but still no life from the Razer driver which I love since I get better sound from that. Lets pray for an update soon

Win10 1607 did break Razer Synapse software (they'll update it to address that)
But the Drivers for Razer hardware should still be fine, just remove them, reboot and get the latest version from Razer and install again.

My Razer Hardwear is working fine, but as you said, I need to wait for an update. I guess the Synapse software is the "main" software for all of razers softwares like Surrouns etc right?

It is working, if I reinstall Razer Surround or my Realtek audio driver. But it is only working til a restart.
The installation of new drivers doesn't help

Then disable in Device Manager for Sound what you do not use.
Razer is your Headset correct? So disable the others.

Nothing helps.
I can deinstall or deactivate all other audio drivers and install the new driver for Realtek or Razer Surround again and again. It is only working till a restart. I think Windows is the problem with it's fu**ing drivers. It also doesn't help to deactivate the automatic driver installation... Windows doesn't care if this setting is deactivated or not.

Fastest solution on every startup:
- Reinstall Razer Surround
