If you're considering playing recent games I'd go with no lower than gtx1060.

Then I'd think about selling off the mobo/cpu and swap in something better like an i5 or the very least an fx8350 / i3 6100.

You could wait it out on the cpu until the new year and see what happens with amd and intels kabylake.

with a gtx1060 i would be throttled to the point where i wouldnt be getting my moneys worth though

750ti or a 950. Maybe a 960 if your PSU is capable.

i have 600watt PSU

Even if it's a crappy one a 960 *should* be fine.

But still, try to figure out exactly what model PSU you have.

whats yoru budget for a gpu?
and what power supply do you have?

that msi mobo is trash
dont even think about overclocking any cpu in it
95w cpu limit, and mis does not recomend any stress test or hevy usage with it

Corsair CX 600 is fine. I would prob go with RX 470. It will be somewhat bottlenecked by your CPU but it will still run games tons better then your current card.

Lots of upgrades are needed mate

AMD CPU motherboard and ram to Intel skylake CPU depending on CPU model ether z170 or b150 chipset motherboard and DDR4 ram

GPU to gtx 1060

Maybe a bigger psu too

If you don't have a SSD get one as a boot drive a M.2 950 pro Samsung model will be quicker than any SSD

This is the problem with these forums. People assume you need to run everything at max. What he said is utter nonsense.

I wouldn't buy a really nice GPU but pick yourself up a 750ti and you will be golden. You don't need the best hardware to game @60fps. You won't be maxing many games with that setup but with some tweaking in the graphics settings you should be fine on low to med@60fps. The 750ti is an amazing entry level card.

SSD's are completely unnecessary and should only be considered if you have the budget. Both of my gaming desktops have SSD's but it is far from a necessity.

i wouldnt go higher than a 750/950 for the build

unless he plans on upgrading the rest soon

Depends on the game and part of the game ^.

I personally wouldn't waste $$$ on a 750ti, 950 or even a 960.

No lower than gtx1060 3GB/rx480/gtx970 imho.

are you guys talking about a card that just came out this year? its completely nonsense like stickyhoneybuns said. i know i asked for some opinions but i dont need a power house that can play everything on max settings getting over what 100-120fps or higher? it would be nice but for now i'd like some suggestions on good budget cars. i'd say my max budget is 200 dollars. im sure when the nividia 960 came out everyone was hype for it during the time. why wouldnt it be good now? especially an upgrade from a 630. i'd need to overhaul my whole PC to actually get my moneys worth out of the 1060 because ill be throttled. i must say the 630 it self runs great on medium-high settings at around 25-30FPS. its not very high FPS but if i up grade to a 960 then im sure ill get around 45-55FPS or maybe even 60-70 idk and it would be a upgrade to the graphics too

Just go for the 960. It'll be a very substantial upgrade even if it gets bottlenecked slightly.
