[SOLVED]AIO coolers; what's the best way to check for leaks?
Hi guys. I've just gotten my EK XLC Predator AIO cooler. Before I install it, I want to check it over thoroughly for any leaks or improperly fitted tubing - preferably before I mount it in the case. Is there a way I can bring the pump up to speed without having the full system installed? Or should I just visually check the pipes and stop overthinking everything?

Thanks.

It shouldn't it's new so it should not have problems with tubing

If it leaks most likely it's non corrosive if it destroys the PC RMA your components get a new one or a better one

Alright, thanks. Just wanted to be absolutely sure - I didn't think you could RMA parts damaged by a failed water cooler.

Unless you overclock your CPU that should be fine if you have the little CPU cover for the socket then you can RMA the board

Thanks for that, that's a big relief. My only concern going to water cooling was potentially wrecking my system and having to foot $1500+ to replace everything.

Just plug it directly on any psu. Short the green and black connections on the mobo connector and it will turn on and run anything attached to it. You will most likely need a converter to plug the tiny 4 pins to the psu. Your fans/psu probably came with one.

If your motherboard has the pins for watercooling, you can just plug it in without replacing the air cooler and test it that way.
