Green pixels and then crashing problem
I've had this problem ever since I bought my Asus computer. When I play some Steam games it randomly flashes colored pixels (mostly green) over the screen and then everything freezes followed by a game crash.

This often happens to games like: Terraria, Don't starve, Fallout 3, Saints row series and more.

I have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti card and a few months ago I learned that the problem could be a Vsync bug and I had to shut it off.
Then it worked fine until two weeks ago when the issue returned.
I believe it was right after a Nvidia update. I'm not sure.

Do anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? Because I'm losing hope here.

either driver or gpu overheating or poor power supply

update bios, drivers (not from windows update or gfe) get the correct ones from mobo site, and latest from intel, amd, nvidia, realtek

Possibly a faulty video card, you may want to contact the supplier.

Well if it is a prebuilt OEM system; contact them for support while you still have a warranty.
Been happening for a while? You should have called them right away. That is what warranty is for.

You have older GPU too; so stick with 365.xx or 368.xx drivers.

Wipe out current NVIDIA stuff using DDU app.

Then download and install one of those drivers, select custom, then select only:
Forceware Driver, PhysX, HDMI Audio Driver

GTX 750 Ti is not really an older card even though it is a 7xx series. It was released about the same time as GTX 970 & 980 and has the efficient Maxwell chip, faster using almost half the power of my old GTX 550 Ti (60 watts vs. 116 watts). It does sound like a graphics problem. Years ago I had I had a GT 430 from Galaxy that began failing just after its 1 yr warranty ran out. If possible try a different video cable and monitor to rule out some problem with those.
