While they do help a lot... No amount of filters will completely stop dust.
The best thing you can do is keep up with cleaning. Not just your PC, but also the room it is in.
Nothing can substitute the need to clean.
However if you have the fan there as an intake, then yes it might be worth having a filter.
For other mounts:
- The case already has a dust filter for the front intake fan/s.
- Bottom of the case already has a filter fitted for psu and any fans you add there.
- If you plan on mounting intake fans to the top of the case, a dust filter may be useful there.
Also be aware that even with filters, there will still be some dust that ends up inside the case.
