12900K and Rtx 4090 low usage on Far Cry 6

Hi. I have 12900K stock

32 GB 2x16 GB DDR4 3600mhz

Palit Gamerock Pro OC rtx 4090

1300W Seasonic Platinum Prime

Aorus Elite DDR4 Z690

Windows 11 2H22. Updated new nvidia drivers.

I swapped from 3090 Ti Gigabyte Gaming to Rtx 4090 Palit Gamerock.

I have an question about Far Cry 6. So on 3090 ti on 1440P,DXR ON i had 80-90% gpu usage.

On Rtx 4090 Palit i have now 60% usage and fps is the same like on 3090 ti.

I compare my fps with someone with 12900K and 4090 and he have 80-85% usage. So why i have 60% usage? The same cpu 12900K.

So question will be this time about Cyberpunk 2077 <lól>.

Basically. I am using : 1440P,RT PSYCHO,DLSS QUALITY,rest ultra.

My fps during crowd areas are low something like 72-85fps. Its when running around many peoples.

Little China for example.

So i saw gameplay review on youtube with Rtx 4090 and AMD 7950X and have the same fps.

Also on AMD 7950X is 32GB DDR5 6000mhz.

I compared my fps on Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark with someone with 12700KF and Rtx 4090. And i have the same fps . Is this normal? I have 12900K and Rtx 4090. Is any difference between that two cpu?

The differences between those CPUs can be looked up. I'm not sure what they are offhand, but it probably amounts to more e-cores, and maybe a slight frequency boost difference. So, yes, getting the same results is expected when even a Core i7 has more core/thread resources than most games will utilize.

So i am getting the same fps no matter what DLSS setting. On Quality and Ultra Performance i have the same fps.
So i compared fps in Cyberpunk2077 benchmark with someone with the almost same pc ,12700K,Rtx 4090. I have 12900K.
1440P,DLSS ULTRA PERFORMANCE,RT PSYCHO. And he have 20 fps more on DLSS ULTRA PERFORMANCE .When me not. So why?

I dont have boost on dlss ultra perf. And i have the same pc almost or better. That person have win 11 22h2. Me too win 11 22h2. So is any sense to install and format to win 11 21h2 or not?

Stop comparing. Even with the exact same specs quality/performance can be different. You have no idea about hardware or silicon lottery. 1 or more components could have lost...badly or be an awesome run

Absolutely NOT. The only sense-able thing for you to do is the STOP comparing when you have no clue about hardware. PLAY the game or LEARN about computer hardware so you are not spending your life chasing everyone else's performance and/or posting for advice all the time

I have completely clean system. No apps in background. 0% cpu usage in idle. Just one game running. And dlss not running on my pc like it should. ULTRA PERFORMANCE have the same fps like DLSS QUALITY. It should be 15-20fps differene but its not.
My clocks during benchmark are normal for cpu and gpu.
So my question. Is any sense to completely format all disk,install windows 10 and then win 11 21H2 ( not 22H2 ) and check game again? Or it will be waste of time?

This guy i mentioned with normal fps have 12700K and ram 3800mhz and rtx 4090.
I have 12900K,Ram 3600mhz, and rtx 4090 too.

If they are 1440p, and using DLSS Ultra Performance, that puts them at 853x480. More then likely a CPU bottleneck at that resolution when paired with a 4090.
