best aio for cpu

I have a i7 9700k and it gets hot with my h55 aio I was looking at getting a 280mm aio

Im looking at the arctic liquid freezer ii 280 OR getting a noctua d15 depends what is cheaper on black friday. any suggestions

If you're going with Noctua, get the NH-U12A over the d15 as it has better cooling & is more silent.

Personally i find air coolers to be less of a hassle & tend to have less issues.

Not sure how scientific this review is, they compare %speed not actual noise, 50%pwm on the u12s is like 1000rpm but 50% on the dh15 is only 750rpm so obviously the u12s might perform better at thos percentages. Regardless theyre probably better then my h55. How about sticking noctua fans on the freezer ii 280mm

120mm aio is not better than a tower cooler with a 120mm fan

240+mm aio or the nh d12 for a mild oc

black friday deals are unpredictable, get whatever you can that a good deal

The Arctic Freezer II is a great option! One of the best AiO on the market, specially in bang:buck for the non-RGB models where the 240 can often be had for under 90 bucks.

I have the 240 and the 280 and both are great coolers. Use the 280 on an R9-5950x and the 240 on an OC'd 4790k.
