Upgraded to 13700k have missing driver in device manager
As title. I've installed all the drivers for the board (MSI mag tomohawk WiFi ddr5) and I'm missing the PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller driver. Can anyone help?

The intel driver utility doesn't even recognise it's missing so that's no help

Put your motherboard cd in or go to the motherboard webpage and download the motherboard drivers.

PS:
I had this problem on my z690 and it loaded the missing driver when I put the CD in. I think the driver was i/o chipset that I was missing.

please read the op. I have already installed all available drivers from website. No cd as I don't have an optical drive.

Even windows update can't find anything for it
get the drivers from the mobo site
chipset, usb, audio, lan
Are you sure you got all of them because a lot when I just looked. Did you get the serial i/o?

I did read it, unfortunately that still doesn't mean you actually installed all of them. obviously you didn't. Now go back and get the others.
I had the same thing happen. Was never cleared up until I ran IObit Driver Booster and it found what was needed.

you don't happen to know what the device was in the end? Ive read everything from chipset to network to even a thermal sensor found only in laptops.
Well it wouldn't be showing missing or uninstalled devices that are present in a Laptop if you are using a Desktop Motherboard.

as mentioned, driver booster will likely find the driver you are missing and w/e drivers you are using that are outdated as well.

Within the device manager, the device and vendor id are listed in the details (hardware id) tab of the unknown device. It also includes the information about the type of the device.

With the Ven and Dev id in hand, you should be able to determine what kind of device is unrecognized.

i googled the ids. only results were from a single post on a single msi forum and there was no clue as to what it is.

Nothing can find drivers for it, including the aforementioned iobits driver booster

example:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01

Right click on it and click uninstall or delete. Then reboot.

Share the Vendor ID and Device ID please.

It's got to be something related to the Intel Chipset stuff.

Are you running Windows 10 or 11?

windows 11

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D&SUBSYS_00000000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D&REV_01
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D&CC_118000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D&CC_1180

Its shown as PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller under "other devices"

thats all I can see in device manager.
