PC Wolfenstein New Order Wireless Xbox 360 I used this fix to connect to only xbox 360

PC Windows 10. Search C:/ for "gamepad". I found 130 different gamepad apps in the Steam folder. Guess for every gamepad on the planet or just to confuse the processor which one to load. I could only find two apps for Xbox 360 in that entire list. I deleted all the other 128 apps to the trash bin(you can restored out of the Trash Bin if needed later. Like adding Neptune gamepad, etc). Wolfenstein New Order, Options Settings. [ x ] xbox 360. there are four different button mapping in options too. Controller Layout. Starting up Xbox 360 now Default. Not a Xbox Gamepad using the controller only A & B button work. Worst of all, cannot Sprint. Make sure the BlueTooth devices xbox 360 is paired and connected to the PC computer. Check installed <start><controll panel><bluetooth><bluetooth devices connected should be listed. <right click xbox 360 see that last update is loaded. Check if connected <start><control panel><devices & printers> Icon of xbox 360 controller should be found if connected. If not xbox 360 needs to be paired. Pairing Xbox 360 <bluetooth><add a device><game controller><make sure the device is on and discoverable, in other words, turn-on lol> <find>. Paring button on xbox front top Left Bumper (LB) button just right of it & raido wave emoji. My computer the wifi & bluetooth built in. 2.0 & 5.0 had no problem finding connecting the controller. I did not pay Xbox $52 bucks to rent their UBS data transfer cable. 99% of the cables on the market do nothing but charge the wireless controller. BlueTooth UBS 2.0 dongle I hear say to use. I do not know if that set-up works for I did not use it.

There are no apps for this in Steam. I think what you deleted are profile presets. Which was pointless to do because it will restore any Steam Client files automatic without asking upon next launch or update of steam client. Files that do not pertain to your hardware don't get in the way or cause problems.

Xbox 360 does not work via BT so IDK what you're on about. You must be using an Xbox One or Core controller if it has BT.

the x360 controllers need a ms usb dongle to work correctly

and the wireless x360 controllers cannot be made wired with the play&charge cable, thats only to charge the controller, not data

I did not use a UBS dougle or hard wire xbox 360 to PC. Hard Wire can be found on Xbox 360 website $52 dollars rent monthly. I'm using a windows 10 PC desktop. last update files no longer found on my PC with BlueTooth build in. Search only different languages setting. I suspect you have paired your controller to your computer and options in game. [ X ] xbox 360 is being used. Check Program manger, device manager, bluetooth icon controller should be found in that list. Better be it' plug and play. If it ain't, the computer does not know you are using one. while in Program Manger goto devices & printers. xbox 360 icon should be there. This worked for me because it was defaulting to Xbox One, Turning controller On after the game starts. Right bottom notification xbox 360 found. Fastest way to check if xbox 360 is connected push the sprint button. If you cannot sprint it is using default Xbox One. Sorry dudes that this did not work for you all. I played all the wolfenstein package Wolfenstein, 3D, youngblood, wolf 2, old blood using my wireless controller Xbox controller. Old School, used to use keyboard & mouse ever since Wolfenstein 3D came out in 1992. Now I would not go back to a mouse & keyboard with or out a tail...
