I disagree. 1000 for trackers, controllers, widest FOV and refresh rate, with the resolution it has is not a bad price. Its not great, but its worth it even being as expensive as it is. Plus the warranty on it is pretty good. Nothing really comes close to the overall quality and experience yet for the price range
I'll probably get one too but I still want to see if it will be better quality than the current wired index. Wireless is a nice feature but not if image quality is a downgrade just to make it work.
Occlus was renamed to meta. You can still buy Occlus quest 2 but if you go to their official site it called meta now with differences.
Links to this? And will it be the steam buy process all over again. Idk how people get in line so fast.
It is wired with wireless capabilities.
Look up the patent yourself "Valve Index new patent."
Then it isn't wireless if it is wired. Unless it only wired to charge it, but will it let you customize headset, to set different head length since some people have big heads. But also if you can't provide a link, then I assume it isn't true, please provide links to what your talking about.
So the controller can intertwine with other vr headsets?
Okay
As for the Facebook account requirement, that's not the case anymore. You can use an Oculus account too if you wish.
All while meta harvests your actual soul from your body
Great!
Also, the quest only has 90 degree FOV. The index has 130, and the resolution is still great for that level of fov
I haven't logged into my Facebook account for months, and yet my Quest 2 is still fully functional. Even it I would use Facebook, I'd be totally fine with Facebook collecting data if that would mean more people being able to afford a VR headset.
