the AOC screen really screams: baby first gaming's computer, looks cool if you're 15.
also a little hint almost all of the internals are made in the same few factories, so beside the brand name and exteriour the differences are negligble.
Bias aside, here are the actual differences based on detailed reviews I've found, but do note that the AOC 24G2 is highly reviewed while the G24F is not as it's a fairly new release:
1. The AOC 24G2 has a much better monitor stand than Gigabyte's G24F, it's much more ergonomic, allowing you to adjust the positioning however you like to get a comfortable viewing position while gaming.
This does not matter if you're using a different VESA standard mount/stand and won't be using the factory stand.
2. The AOC 24G2 has better contrast than some of Gigabyte's other monitors, but worse black and grey uniformity, so both panels used for either display are just typical of a cheap IPS display. The AOC has the edge in reflections (reflects less light as it's a better matte finish on the screen).
3. The AOC 24G2 only advertises support for FreeSync, while the G24F supports both G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync. AOC's monitor may or may not work with NVIDIA GSC.
4. The AOC has a native refresh of 144Hz, while the Gigabyte goes up to 170Hz. Average response for the AOC is average for IPS, can't find results for the G24F, but it's likely to be similar.
5. AOC panel is flicker free. The G24F might be as well, but I could be wrong. There aren't many proper reviews of the G24F.
6. Input lag is very good on the AOC 24G2. No data on the G24F.
7. Same general price range, YMMV from country to country.
I'd say it's a pretty close matchup of budget IPS panels, but I would put most of the focus on the ergonomics as that's the glaring difference between the two, and if you're using an NVIDIA GPU, I would lean more to the G24F as it as proper G-SYNC Compatible support, being validated as working with it, whereas the AOC is not validated and G-SYNC Compatible may not function properly with it as a result. My XG27VQ was not validated, and G-SYNC enabled did not work as it should. It also comes down to price, I would go with what's cheaper if you're on a very tight budget.
Yes i am using NVIDIA GPU but I think I am going to end up gettting a AOC 24G2 and thank you for taking your time writing all those details, appreciated and I hope you have a great day ahead and stay safe.

It's 1440p 144Hz that you'd want at least a 3070 or 3080.
But not all games even support going above 60 FPS. Some are engine locked.
I see them go out of stock pretty often, it's wildly popular with gamers on a tighter budget.
