Can someone help me fix an audio issue with my Controller?
I recently got a DualSense (PS5) controller for my gaming laptop.

I've managed to pair it, have updated the firmware and everything, and it seems to be working well enough. However, I have an annoying, persistent audio issue.

I use Bluetooth Speakers to play sound on my laptop. What happens is that after sometime of both the DS and the speaker being connected to the laptop, the latter loses ALL audio. Cannot hear a thing on my speakers anymore...

I've looked it up and people have some fixes, but those do not apply in my case as a) in these cases, audio is instantly lost as soon as the controller connects; and b) when connected in Wireless mode, people in these videos see "Speakers (Wireless Controller)" as an option in the sound box, which they then disable to fix this problem. This is not the case with me, as I do not see that when it's connected wirelessly.

I can hear audio fine on my default laptop speakers, but not on my BT one. Can someone please help? This is driving me nuts.

check windows sound settings
disable all unused devices
make sure the bt speakers are listed and set as default

not sure if the dualsense controller audio works, but if thats listed, disable it too
@_|_ I know the DS4 controllers audio works so that's likely an issue. I'd second the recommendation to just disable the Dualsense as an audio device completely.
I don't even see the DS in any audio device to disable it :/

Needs to be connected and on to show or Right click in the playback devices section and select show disconnected devices
